Reset Epson T50 and T60 without error 21000068

Get an error 21000068 when resetting your Epson T50 or Epson T60 and not see  any solution to prevent the problem. Why not try this tips, but reset this method not recommended for beginner user and you must understand what you are doing. These tips from Jagdish Rathore (India) and I have been granted permission to publish on this blog. He also has been publishing this reset method on his blog on.

1. Turn off printer and open printer.
2. Open your Epson main PCB board.  You can view an 8 pin CMOS IC.  That is Epson waste ink counter IC and found on all Epson Printer.

 

• You can reset your printer without any resetter by following these ways.
•  Soldering pin no 1,2,3,4 by wire  as show in PICTURE and now turn on printer for ”20 second”

• After 20 second turn off printer  and remove soldering wire from pin no. 1,2,3,4 ( back in original condition)
•  Now turn on your printer
• And now your printer will be RESET

Epson R220 and R230 using 6 Individual Intellidge Colour Ink Cartridges and this printer designed for photo printing. This printer has a very high resolution up to 5760 x 1440 dpi and allows photo quality printing.  It has parallel and USB interface to connected to computer and its compatible with Windows 98, Windows 2000, ME Windows XP and Macintosh.

 Here how to Reset Epson R220 and R230 using the software

• Download and extract downloaded software and run it.
• Click accept button.
• Set model name, port selection and destination setting and equal to your printer.
• Click Maintenance Tab.
• Check mark waste ink pad counter.
• And the clear the protection counter (reset counter to zero)
• Then click Ok, Ok
• done

• Set date setting in your computer to 4 October 2007.
• Run Adjustment Program by clicking “AdjProg.exe”.
• Select Accept
• Select Particular adjustment mode
• Select “Waste ink pad counter – OK
• Click Initialization to reset current protection counter to “Zero”.
• Turn off printer and turn on again.

Tips Using Software Resetter for Epson Printer without Change Date Setting

 

At some software resetter or adjustment program for epson need date setting at computer to use the software without error. sometime change date setting in computer very disturb. in fact there are some ways to use software resetter or adjustment program for epson without changing date setting in computer and without error.
Here how :
A. Using bat file or Create bat file
Create one bat file and copy this code. You can use notepad to create it. Place the bat file at the same folder with the adjustment program.

B. Using Date Cracker Software

• Download and install Date Cracker and run the software.
• Click Add button, enter program description (example: Resetter Epson C90)
• Click “…” button the select the adjutment software then click open.
• Type date setting for the adjustment program in the simulated run date.
• Click run button to run the software.

Note : All this methods has been tested.

How to Run Adjustment Program for Epson Printers Whitout Error (for All Version)

Are you bored when running adjustment program for epson. The adjustment program always showing “Error, this program cannot be used” or showing message “Error, this program cannot use because it expired“. This caused the program has expired. Although the program has expired but it can be used by changing date setting on the your computer according with the type of adjustment program. On this tutorial you can solve the problem and run the adjustment program without error again. Example adjustment program on this tutorial I use Resetter Epson C90. This tip work for all version of adjustment program.

delete all registry key in : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | EPSON | PTSG |

• Then change the date setting at computer accord with adjustment program type

How to Know Date Setting of Adjustment Program

For example I use adjustment program for epson C90 (resetter epson C90).

• Extraks adjustment program, then go to the extraded folder.
• Click menu then select detail ( setting windows Explorer to detail view)
• Vew date modified the AdjProg.exe ( date setting = date modified ), for AdjProg.exe epson C90 is 11/07/2007 (11 July 2007)
• Then before re-run adjustment program, change the setting to 11 July 2007

How changing date setting in the PC :

• Double click the clock in the systray or click Start – Control Panel then select “Date and Time”
• Because the example using adjustment program Epson C90. Date setting for this adjustment is July 11, 2007. So that change the date setting on PC to July 11, 2007 (for Adjustment Epson C90) – apply – Ok
